Ice Making and Painting Technologies (IMPT)

In this four day program, participants will learn the skills necessary to create a quality sheet of ice, from a bare refrigerated floor to a completed skating surface. This course combines in-class, and on-ice instruction of proper ice making and painting techniques. The class will spend a full day painting the ice white with spraying equipment, measuring and painting hockey markings, painting stenciled logos, and laying in reusable logos. Participants will complete a written exam on the final day of class.
